    First, the obvious:

Check battery, battery connections, especially the ground wire at the frame and battery. Check fuse/s.

COULD be the ignition switch, seen it happen on old bikes. More than likely it's around the battery/ground wire. It all has to be tight and clean.

Probably a dead battery, get a test light or a meter set it to dc and test see if you get 12 to 13 amps across the battery, red to positive black to ground on the battery, If it's zero or very low then order a battery tender from DP and charge it up, or get a new battery and still order the battery tender.

The Battery Tender plus will run all the time and keep the battery at optimal amps. Has a pigtail you screw onto the battery and just put the wire from the tender onto the connector, no removing seats or parts.
