Two friend down today

    We got two phone calls this afternoon that 2 good friends were in 2 separate bike accidents over the weekend. One was on his Thunder MTN Springer with his girl friend. He was life flighted to the hospital and is still in intensive care and is having surgery. His girl friend was killed at the scene of the accident. He has always been a good rider and has helped many learn how to ride.

    The second was a very old good friend of ours who was in an accident on his bike while on I-5 yesterday morn. He to was rushed to the hospital but passed away yesterday afternoon. Man, I'm gonna really miss him.

    God, life sucks at times.

    Sorry to here such bad news, We've had couple of riders go down in the past couple of weeks to. Fortunately they were not life threatening.

    Hard to take that kind of news FLHT. Losing friends is always tough.

    We participate in a rather dangerous sport because of idiots in cars racing around us. In literally every incident involving a car / bike crash, the car driver sez "I didn't see him!"

    I pray for the families they left behind.

    Found out today my friend Bronson, who is still in ICU could not have the surgery for the broken vertebrae. He has to much swelling from the broken ribs, punctured lungs and the torn liver. Sure hope he gets better.

    He may recover from his injuries, but how will he get over having his girlfriend die while she was riding on the back of his bike?

    Man, you have a difficult duty as a friend ahead of you. May God give you the presence and the words for him.

    Amazing to hear all who care so much. Good friends and faith make these times bearable. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your friends. I will also keep their families in my prayers.

    I was asked that the title heading be changed,so now it is. However I still feel really bummed and down by the accidents and will feel bad for a long time to come.
