    well this is how it went and what i am doin all in put would be cool,my 85 fxwg had an h4 in it and it died now being on a tight budget as of late and summer coming i am puttin a ultima 53-644 in it,i am told it is the same as a dyna 2000i and i down loaded both installation instructions and they read exactly alike any one out there got any insight into this:fight:

    Ultima is known for making copies of others stuff and rebadging existing tech
    haven't dealt with it but if the instructions are with it you shouldn't have an issue.

    well i was just at demon cycles and i am proud to say that they actually list it as being made in the good old U S of A. so i am feeling a little more confident:banghead:

    I thought the Ultima ignitions were made by Dynatek for Ultima...Didn't think Ultima was like Taiwan Ted....

    well it should be here today and all the research i have done says it is the same as the dynatek i guess we will see:cussing:

    Yes as an ULtima engine owner I can tell you that the literature that comes with the engine says the ignition is made by Dynatek. I had to replace the original ignition that came with the engine as it failed after a few years and used a Dynatek replacement and they are identical.
