Ultima Service Manual

Can anyone suggest a good service manual for Ultima El Bruto Motors I have found a lot of information on Mid West web site but I'm looking for a good EVO service manual for my bike. Its a FatBastard 250 Ultima Kit and I have been having problems cross referencing parts and dealing with basic service issues. I'm not a trained MC tech but I know my way around the garage and have been rebuilding a this kit I purchased already assembled but wanted to make it my own and I'm learning a lot. Hands on is great but a little book work goes a long way with me.

I'm looking for something with pictures and diagrams with exploded views torque specs and maybe even a cross reference section. I know I have a five speed bullshift transmission, I know I have a 113 El Bruto, I know the wiring because I just rewired this winter, I know I have a HI-4 ignition system. I know these parts are basic evo v-twin set-up but would like to have years because every parts mag or catalog separates by year. I'm not afraid to cut or use a hammer to make things fit.

I also have a Fat Bastard 250. The bike is based in a '99 soft tail. You can get a lot of info from the Ultima web site. I had to down load the manual off the Ultima web site. Jireh has no tech support. I have had my bike for 3 years, built it from the kit. If you have more questions, I will try to answer them.

Thanks I have been doing a lot of reverse reading, looking at exploded views of tranny and other parts to determine what goes where and what parts are what. I have downloaded pretty much everything from Mid West's site. I have had some luck with Jireh but nothing to brag about. Thanks for the year info I have also learned that the year may only apply to OEM Harley's because of multiple fitment variations. Im learning alot about my bike by taking it apart and putting it back together, feel like a little kid again with a RC car.

not sure if you attempted to email that yet however due to the wonderful world of the internet if you did not just click on my email address you most likely forgot the underscore between craun and the number 4 underscore is the shift key and the key next to the zero, Im not trying to insult you computer intelligence because you are helping me but sometimes people don't not what the hell I'm talking about when I say underscore. Thanks for your help.

How is it going. The service manual you speak of. would you email it to me also ? i will pm u with the address. I have the Ultima owners manual and the Big motor break down from the web sight, but i have no service manual for the motor. I have been using my original 1990 HD service manual and a 1998 service manual for service and torques. I had the oil pump on my 107" to lock up and shear the pump drive shaft. have not found the cause yet. I swapped the motor from my 1990 ultra to my new 1995 ultra and the first time out at about 15 miles the oil pump quit. Got her back in the road last Saturday and all is well with the new pump. I hope for now.

I still have the manual but I don't thinks its anything you don't have already. I have been using the 90's model manual as well for specs

I have searched everything Ultima, so you may be right. The 90 and 98 service manual has served me well.
