Well there the only place around here that sells Mobile 1 V-Twin SYN, been buying it there for several years. I don't like what they did either and yes it bothers me a lot. If I can find another place here that sells it ill buy from them.

Ain't gittin on your Band WAgon. Ain't gonna Boycott Autozone.
What the dude did was liability for Autozone.
The State DOES NOT WANT A JOHN WAYNE.
It was not the employees responsibility to do what he did.
Sorry if you do not feel like I do.
But Auto Zone did not hire the employee to do what he did.
He is not a Policeman or security guard.. He wasn't hired to do this.
    It was NOT his STORE
AutoZone had rather let the robber take the money, instead of a innocent person in the store to be robbed. They ain't gonna keep that much money in the store anyway.
Why risk somebodys life for it.
Autozone has insurance regulations on what they should and shouldn't do.
This ain't old times anymore. Git over it
Autozone has camera all over the store. It does camera pictures and sound.
In our handgun CHL classes they specifically state that.
The robber was robbing the store. Not the people in the store.
The person workin at the store should of known the policies of the store.

I'm wth the employee. Chances are the robber would have killed anyway. I would rather be judged by 12 rather .....

:rolleyes:Not My Bandwagon...AutoZone is USA only, and I'm not... So if a friend of yours was being held at gunpoint(I think the manager is an innocent person)you'd do nothing....good to know you'd turn your back if someone was in a perilous situation,I guess you're part of the pussification of America...leave a brother behind, just save your own ass:rolleyes:

I wonder if you'd feel the same if the manager of the store was a family member...

The Business Owner and the Police do not want you doing their job.

Did you have the weapon on yer side NO.
Did the company Hire you to be a security guard , NO!
Once you left the business and went outside you are no longer in a threat for your life situation. And nobody like your kid or wife is inside either.
They didn't hire you to save the world.
Same thing I said John Wayne situation

What you would do is LOSE your job. Now you opened Liability on Yourself for your actions.

    In our CHL classes
They asked if you was in a Bank and robbers come in What would you do.
I said NOTHING , it ain't my money or job to stop them.
That is exactly what the state wanted to hear.
They will not give a License for a CHL to John Wayne people.

If'n you was in Business for yourself. You would see what it took to get and keep liability insurance on a Business. And the cost keep rising.
If you can't get liability insurance that you can afford, you can't keep your doors open.
Liability insurance companies have ways they will let you operate. If you break these rules they can DROP your insurance, leaving you open to be Sued.
And seems everybody is suing somebody nowdays.

You twist this around to fit you anyway you want.

Mabe you should go get training for this and let it be your main job.
See who will hire you and what kind of insurance you will need.
I did work for two retired police officers who opened a private security, alarm business.
They will tell me all about it.

But go to Court and stuff changes real fast. And it cost money to hire a lawyer and go to court.
When the state senator of AZ was shot. There was people with CHL license that was there. They got on the ground cause they didn't know who was shootin, and they was scared somebody might mistake them for the wrong person and shoot them.
Gabrielle Giffords Shot: Congresswoman Shot In Arizona (LIVE UPDATES)

Sit down and talk to a attorney against the Liability you put yourself in when you do what the dude at Auto Zone did

I did not make the State laws, I have to however go by what they wrote.

The law does not permit me to go out to my car and do what he did.
I had to go threw 15 hours of CHL training. And then Qualify.
They taught us liability on using your weapon.
The robber was only interested in the money at Auto Zone.
This happens everyday in Houston, Everyday , even in Banks.

When it happens at somebodys home, that is when private citizens shoot somebody for being on their property

IF, the dirt bag came in and took the money and left is one thing, BUT since he locked the (about to be) hero up and had the managers life in his hands, the hero had only one choice but to come to the aid of his co-worker. RE: photographer should have pulled guy from subway. He should have shot the bastard.

A note passer, really? you compare to someone who is holding a co-worker at gunpoint? How many times have you read about de-aranged criminals shooting potential witnesses in cold blood ?
