After a long trip to the stealership this morning to pick up a float needle (hence an ongoing overflow issue) i found that someone had put an incorrect size float needle in the carb.Carb overflow eliminated. The stage 1 seems to have improved the overall performance of the bike but i still have the stumble off idle and at highway speeds.HOWEVER-it does run better than it has in a long time so i thank everyone for their support through this time.Everything in the carb is now officially new.Is it possible to have debris stuck deep in the pilot/gas chamber?

It's possible - but if it running without the stumble at mid range or roll off/on it's more than likely yer at the point where yer ready for some fine tune tweakin. Take it out and warm it up good then set the idle adj. again. It should help even more.

I just reset my carb about a week ago. I set my idle after a a good warm up. I would have to say that my bike runs better than it ever did.

Just curious though, you said that the all the internals on your carb are new? ACC pump included? What did you use for jets? Stock?

Cool, because there would be no way that I would be able to run the stock jets on mine, too many mods. Stock for my bike was a 42 pilot, not sure on the main as my indy guy said that it was ok. I had to put a 46 pilot in. Runs awesome, now I just have to adjust my primary.
