Upgrading from 883 to 1250

    I have a 04 883 sportster with cv performance premium kit for the 883 installed. I'm going to upgrade motor with the Nrhs 1250 kit with my stock 883 heads. My question is can I just replace my jet's or do I need a whole new kit (tube needle and spring). Also what size jet's would you recommend? Thanks

    well you are going to have to replace the jets for sure, it's going to want more fuel.

    You'll need to bump up the jetting. Your jetting is probably around 44/175 with our kit, and will need to move up to approx 45/180 with the 1250 upgrade. You'll also need to readjust your mixture screw.
