Well, I finally ordered my V-Ductor. I am amazed at how much better my bike starts and runs with just the CV carb (compared to the stock Keihin butterfly unit). Got it tuned to the new pipes and have been going for short putts around town. Now that the weather is starting to cooperate, I'll be taking longer trips so I can check the mpg. From what I've read here about the V-Ductor, I can expect even more gains. Thanks to everybody who answered my dumb questions about the carb upgrade. When I finally decide to buy an EV-27 cam, I'll probably have more dumb questions...

All done! It will work well with the SE air cleaner or not, but it LOOKS cool either way. I've done so much tinkerin' over the winter that I don't have a baseline to go off of, so I can't really tell if it a made a diffence in "seat of the pants" torque & power. The bike runs so much better with the CV anyway. Thanks again everybody!:)
