I have a used Vance & Hines Fuel Pack for an Injected Twin Cam Fatboy/Softail. It works but I don't need it. Make offer plus Priority Mail cost.

How much you want for it, I've got a new Harley rider set that is also pull back for a softail. I'll have to look at the part number but they will fit a fatboy.

FLHTbiker, they are 6" which makes them NG for me. My cables won't stretch that far (4.5" was the max). If you want the FuelPak it's yours just for the freight I guess Priority Mail small box rate. Let me know.

Why don't you like the Fuel Pak? I have one and think it does a decent job of keeping my motor running cooler.

It's nothing personal with V&H it's just that It was installed by the original owner of my bike and it wasn't set up properly. The guy had installed H-D "not street legal" slip-ons he mail ordered, and that no dealer could find out anything about, (pictured below). He then installed the FuelPak to compensate. The bike is a '05 15th Anniversary FatBoy that came with the 95 cu in kit from the factory with the SE airfilter already installed. With the Fuelpak the bike popped like crazy on deceleration and occaissionaly stalled off idle (usually in the middle of an intersection). I tried the bike without the FuelPak and it ran great but I knew the mixture had to be wrong. I spoke with V&H several times about getting a map for my set-up but they couldn't provide one that worked. I got a lot of "ummmm, ummm, let's try this one". Then I saw the previous owner and asked him about it. He said he went through the same bs with V&H. He tried several maps from their listing and the one on it is the best he could find. Since the my bike is a rare set-up and the slip-ons questionable, I really don't blame V&H. Indeed, I had a lot of their help and work done on an old Japanese bike that I used to race.
So, I started over in a way. I bought a new/old stock set of H-D SE II Slash Cut slip-ons that were heavily discounted from a H-D dealer in PA and HRK led me to Fuel Moto who were able to provide me with a Power Commander with a map dialed in for my set-up. The bikes runs GREAT now. Eventually, I plan on being able to afford a dyno run to check on the map and tweak it if needed. SO, along with tons of other dusty items, the FuelPak sits on a shelf. Shelf space is at a premium in my garage.

Your engine must be heavily modified inside. I think the FuelPak is probably meant for stock engines with simple changes to intake and exhaust.

Mine is stock, and was running very hot and popping all the time. I could tell it was burning way too lean cuz my gas mileage was about 60 mpg. Adding a K&N intake and Rinehart 2-into-1 exhaust made the bike run better, but actually made it even leaner (65 mpg). I was worried it was gonna burn the pistons.

I installed the FuelPak with the required settings for K&N and Rinehart, and man what a difference it made! Engine ran strong and smooth (no popping), and my gas mileage is still 50 mpg. These things are highly tune-able if you have the right numbers from V&H. Don't throw it away.

Incidently, my bike will pull away from the guy here who has a CVO 110 RoadGlide.

V&H had no data for the engine and the slip-ons.

I have used one off of a Heritage on an Ultra. Plug n play. Just email or call V&H for the settings. All it has to do is plug in ahead of the CPU, and have a place to tuck it away. I used it on a 95" with cams, SE heads, intake and exhaust. Simple and effective if you're not going after the very last half of HP.

I wish I knew what my '08 gained in hp after I installed this. When I took it for a test spin, it pulled the front wheel off the ground from 1st to 2nd gear. Eeeehaahh! Made my bike really "open up" when running full throttle. Made no diff. in power at part throttle.
