Hi, Does anyone know if I can expect any gains by adding a V&H Fuelpak to my '09 FLHX which already has a dealer installed Stage 1 upgrade an re-map?

I had a Fuelpak on my 2002 Ultra Classic and never could get it right. It was put on in 2006 when I had Vance & Hines True Duals on. I just put a ThunderMax on it and you would not believe the change, there is hardly any vibration while ideling and it just gets better each time I ride it.

If you are doing nothing more than pipes and filter you should do one or the other.

Problem with canned maps is you can't adjust anything, (HD download)

Power Commander V, Power Comander 5, Powercommander with auto tune

or TTS - MasterTune EFI Programming Software with auto tune

and if you want to dump more cash - Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) and Performance Parts for Harley Davidson and VTwin Motorcycles

    are better solutions.

    I prefer the TTS because
    1) No add on parts like the Powercommander which can fail or come loose, water etc
    2) No replacement of ECM, if you have a warranty bike with the ZIppers they cover the zippers warranty but that won't do you much good in buttfart Montana when it takes a dive, you'll need to carry the stock ECM as a replacment or you'll be waiting on ZIppers to ship you a warranty replacement.

With the TTS, you carry a cable interface and dongle, software CD or, load the software (copy) onto a thumbdrive and copy your map to a thumbdrive, ECM takes a dump in Greasespot Colorado, you simply replace the ECM and then upload the program and data from the thumbdrive using a laptop..

All three work very well, JMO a software solution that gives you access to the ECM simplifies a lot of things, no hardware issues, no addon devices etc....

And maps are available for most builds from TTS and it auto tunes...

This company did the HD SERT - A great program
