Hey everyone, new to this site but have been reading forums for awhile. Great site!! I have 2012 streetglide that i installedd V&H slipons, The sound is deeper than stock however it is very quite compared to the V&H slipons i have on my softail standard. It doesnt have the potatoe sound that i am used to either, but i am guessing that is not the pipes causing that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.!!

V&H usually offer a choice of baffles for their mufflers. Maybe you got the "legal" baffles.

Thanks for the response fatboy128. A good buddy of mine said the same thing. Do you know if it's possible to order and change the baffles??

Should be easy, usually there is a screw or two near the end of each muffler. They hold the baffle in. Call V&H they will help ya over the phone. Been there, done that.

Yer not gonna git a potatoe sound from the newer twin cams.
Pipes will burn in after a few thousand miles.
I really like the sound of my buddys Fuel Moto 4 1/2 tunes mufflers right out of the box.

Personally I like supertrapps. Course i'm gettin Old too. Don't require as much noise......

Also- the 2 into 1 into 2 design of the touring bikes exhaust system doesn't keep pulses seperated like the twin pipes on your FXST. A true duel system will help the sound but may take away some low end power.

I think these are the best for price, performance and sound from V&H. Put them on mine and love em.
