I have a 97 Harley Dyna Lowrider with a stock 80 ci engine. I am thinking about having Vance & Hines big shots staggared exhaust installed on it. I am looking to gain more power in general and a better sound than the stock exhaust thats on it now. Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.

I installed V&H bigshots on my Dyna. Like the look a lot, but the baffles they came with created, in my opinion, too much back-pressure, and made it feel like I LOST H.P., so I took them out. Now the exhaust is louder than hell, but nice H.P. gain. Opinions on exhaust will go as far as anything else someone has input on. You need to set your priorities on what YOU want,...looks, performance, economy, or a combo of all. There are several exhaust companies out there. Anyways, I seem to be rambling, so to answer your question, my preference is V&H all the way. :D

    Too lean

Remember STRETCH, if and when you get an exhaust that breaths well, you will need to rejet your carb, or upgrade to a better carburetor. (Food for thought)
