What series did you go with running nitro.? I have run the 1000 series small block rod from them spray the hell out of them and boosted them as well. With no issuies .and get like seven strecths out of the rod bolts before i have to replace them .good quality rod .for the money .pin fit some times needs to be toched up a bit on the small end .big ends i have had no problems .i get them through nickels performance .my salesmen has a great hook up.

this motor is regular plain bearing.thats why i went with car type rods.to get away from the rollers

Wasn't sure if you went to a babit style bearing or not. Did not know if maybe you machine the big end for a split cage or somthing crazy .the car type bearing will be more fogiving to a point on the crank with those big cylinder pressures .and the aluminum rods take the shock much better. Nice ass motor!

SNS makes a 124 kit for my bike, with the CVO engine colored cylinders and heads

I have to stay away from that stuff too

what all did you do, mine is a 110 CVO so it has the granite heads and cylinders.

I see where SNS sells a 117 kit that is 4.125 by 4.375
isn't the 110 4.00 by 4.375, so you wouldn't have to change the
flywheel if going to 117 but the 124 has a 4.625 stroke.

Would both kits require boring out the cases to accept the larger jugs,
are you splitting the flywheel and changing rods?

    Inquiring minds need to know,

shit paul see what you started...

to go to 124" would require a cylinder kit & F/W`s,ide use your 110 heads.if you wanted to go 117",then just a cylinder kit.if you brought just the motor in,youde be starting at 2500.00 for 117" and 4000.00 for the 124"
