I am starting this new topic so as not to rain on AFNurse’e topic. It would be cool if views from others decks and or porches could be added.

Pikes Peak at 7:00 AM 09/20/09.
Snow is finally melted but will start returning in the months ahead. If you look close at the Zoomed in pic you can see Kissing Camels at Garden Of the Gods Park.
Until a month or so ago the neighbor had a big old half dead tree sticking right in the middle of the picture, when he cut the tree I tried to get him to cut down the power pole at the same time, he wasn’t into that challenge.

I can see mountains to the west, but they didn't show up in this picture from my cell phone. About 15 minutes after I took the picture, that cloud turned into a huge thunderstorm that went on for hours. I could see it all from my house. It was incredible.

yep chuck almost exactly a year:roflmao: it's to f'n hot, and I had to work outside all year. lots of work up there with no one to do it so there's alot of places handing out good bennies and incentives to go there. I'd rather go back to the 4 seasons instead of the 2

Texas was great in March. It was even hot, by Colorado standards. I can't imagine what it's like in the summer.
