Spent weekend visiting Sister and Brother-in-law. Picture is from top of Copper Mtn. Skied there two days. Beautiful blue skies, sunny, but cold. :)

Hey Cruiser, you were about 30 miles from my house. Hope you had a good time and didn't get blown around too much.

Cool. Bet the weather wasn't all that different from the Great Smokies in winter.

Yep, had a blast. Try to get out to see them once a year if I can, I love the Rockies. Got blown around quite a bit, especially on Sunday. :)

Cardboard, you live in a fairy land. Everywhere else has snow, even Florida on occasion.

November/Dec for me. I'll bet we ran into each other while cruising the bars and didn't know it. I do remember me and a buddy getting into a big brawl with about 12 swabbies one night at Maggie Mays. Did I break your jaw?

2 weeks later I was in Nam.

Yes, I like that "experienced and mature" much better than old. I just bought an Old Guys Rule t-shirt for our ride leader (he's 84) that says "Loud, Fast, and Built To Last". I always tell him I want to be like him when I grow up.

FLHTbiker: We had a lot of fun fighting during those days. I loved to fight and it was a good way to release. My dad was a professional welter-weight boxer in his younger days, and he taught me how to fight and defend myself without any weapons. Can't do that anymore cuz everyone's got a gun and is anxious to use it.

Boy, ain't that the truth. I learned how to box and otherwise defend myself in military academy when I was 9 - 10 years old. We settled our differences with our fists in those days. Not many do that now.
