Carb pharts probably blew out my VOES switch so I went to HD to get another one and it was $78.00 w/tax and not in stock. Why does this cheap ass looking part cost 78 bucks? I found another part number and was wondering what the difference could be....

26555-94 For 94 thru 98 FLT. This is the one I need but costs $78
26558-84 For 86 thru 89 FLT. This one goes for $40.

They look almost the same except for the new style connector. Does anyone know if the vacuum setting is different?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It always surprises me what you can find on Amazon.com. I ordered one with 6"Hg (the highest I could find) for a total of $39. Then went to HD to cancel my other order they had for $78.

I found this website VOES? What's That? - it has some really good info. Now I know how to adjust it higher if I need it.
