Construction was finished on old Route 4 after a couple of years, they did one section at a time....

So my lil honey and I head out to "ride to eat,eat to ride" On the way out the speedo started going haywire on me and trip meter quit working, got to a swing bridge and a yacht was coming through and the bike wouldn't idle....Reached our destination and filled my face:rolleyes: then headed back...Route 4 is a twisty 2 lane biway with only about 5 miles left to resurface(out of 110) so with no speedo, but tach working I decided to pick up the pace, since I saw the road conditions on the way up and wanted to see how this 95" with TW21 performs....well it performs well:D...On one curve I was in 5th and only revving at 2500 RPM's came out of the turn and 2 cages putting along at the speed limit(50MPH) just a twist of the wick, they were gone and the tach never saw 2500 again the rest of the trip...after scraping the boards on a couple of tight corners, lil honey leans forward and says" I didn't know you could ride like that!! You holding out on me!!
Well that was music to my ears....so the rest of the trip was mostly at 3500 RPMs...The Michelin Commander II's have great dry road traction....
It was a fun ride back:D bikes performance was great and found out my lil sweetie doesn't mind the sound of foot boards scraping.....A Great Day!!!:D:rocket_bike::cheers:
