I am looking for a set of 96 CI jugs. I have decided that I am going to use these instead of buying a whole kit and just give my bike a displacement jump. If you have a set of 96 jugs that you want to unload, please PM. Thanks. :D

check with your dealer to get some take off's when someone bought the 103 kit..sometimes folks just leave 'em there..oops! you got the same motor I had..you want 95's or 88's to bore out..88's I got but they're heavy..probably be too spendy to ship 'em to you.

Calgary Alberta, about 1200 mile or so from you. You should be able to score a set of 88 jugs for free, there's a bunch of 'em out there..even the whole kits are cheap now.

now if you score a set of 103 then you will have a 95 ci as the 103 is a 96 stroke with a 95 bore follow?

no case boreing involved if you stay under 98 inches.

if im not mistaken and you might want to ask here on the forum and im sure . a machinest will chime in if you go above 4.100 bore you will then need to clearence the case . if not then the piston skirt will hit the case spigot housing . then again that bore size is not comonly used any how. at that point most guys would put longer arm in there to get more cubic inches and go to a smaller bore .

You can't bolt on larger than 98 and those require some special
cylinders boring out the others to 98 gets the walls thin, reliability is the key

You don't have the stroked crank of the 96 and up engines
boring the cases is required if you go larger and JMO not worth the work
unless you go big, 116 or 124. Then you start breaking the other stock parts
trans, belts, clutch comp sprocket need a big budget, been there done that.

Score a set of used 88's or JMO bore yours, they are good and
seasoned and a great start and you save money do it in the winter
when you can't ride anyway so no down time.

Then decide how far you want to go, over 95 you'll be looking at intakes
head work etc for power, head work is probably your best bet for the 95 anyway and
raise compression using pistons like HD 10.5 to 1, then drop in a wood tw 8 or similar cam
and it will be strong and reliable.

You know I just remembered that I have the dyno sheet that was done on my Road Glide. I suppose I will take a look at all of that and see what it is doing and then go from there.

I may even post it if it isn't too embarrassing. ;)

ill take a guess 74 . 85 torque . its nothing to be ashamed of , as they make about 60 horse from the factory.

Key on a bagger is the TQ line
don't worry about the HP line
it's an 800+ pound bike and
top end HP isn't the key for a happy street bike.

    TQ is the key

WoW BP, that was a close guess. You were right on the torque but a little high on the HP. I took good look and I payed attention to the afr and that is running lean in the mid range. Just over 15 starting at 2500 rpm and doesn't hit stioch until 5000 then starts to go rich from there.

thats cause i dont give a **** what cams you youse on these baggers withstock heads and cams you can only get so much torque out of them period ! all this talk about diffrent cams on stock motors your just moveing the torque band up or down useing the valve timing to change cylinder fill and pressure you want torque build ci displacement is the key and compression . !

I am not impressed with the power that this is making either. The butt dyno likes it when I am going about 55 mph then down shift into 4th and then shiit can it. Then this bike wakes up and moves, but other than that it needs some help.:D

When I first got the bike I went to show my indy and he said as well for the 95" kit that head work should be done. OK, no worries about that. Not sure if I want to mess with the AFR's until I get the conversion done.
