not a fan of ruger pistols. If I owned a ruger it would be a revolver only.
Seen too many of them Jam.
If you pull a pistol and it jams you got a problem.

When I choose a semi automatic I only want a top grade pistol.
Want to see one that has a polished ramp and can take the abuse like springfield XD pistols and Glock.

    Handgun Review: the Ruger SR1911 | GunGunsGuns.net

Plus it does not need an Allen wrench to disassemble it like the Springfield does. Also it says made in USA not Brazel on it.

Here is a more complete review of it

Nothin wrong with Brazil. There are a lot of people from England in Brazil.
    They talk Portuguese

Know a lot of folks that has worked in Brazil. Went to school with a family from Brazil.

History of Brazil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The best pistols are NOT all MADE in the U.S.
We get Union Labor involved and laws that govern how we make them.
We got People here that want to sue pistol mfg because somebody got hurt or killed with a Pistol That is BS.
A pistol is a piece of machinery.

When I pick up a pistol, hold it in my hand and see how its made, I know more about if I like the pistol and if I trust it and will it hold up.

But when a company like S&W sides with the goverment. Just the intent is enough for me not to ever have anything to do with them.

Blah, blah, blah would you buy your Harley if they start making em in Brazel:rolleyes:

Buy American dude and support this country not some Portuguese speaking English dude.
Been around guns all my life, shoot competition for over 20 years. Hand built several rifles and pistols from scratch. Won't buy Brazelian guns! Bet you didn't even read the two reviews I posted for the Ruger.

And I won't buy from a company that sells out to Big Brother.
    I'd buy Chineese first.
You can hollar Buy american all you want to. But we quit producing a lot of things here. Price of Labor is too high. How can a union auto maker start out at around 65.00 a hour plus benefits and later on be at 100.00 a hour.
They make too much money. That's why we pay so much for auto's.

Because of the Union and the EPA. And you can't and won't git ride of either.
YOu got too many Rich folks and people with too much power to think about them being gone.
Until you get ride of them we have a problem with the quality of a lot of things made and the price of it.
We are a global economy now. Our country depends on the global system and what goes on with it.

10MM come in fast and went out fast. The bullets can be hard to git and more expensive.
Everybody I know that had 10mm got rid of them.
Go to the gun show and see how popular they are.
    You see 9, 40 and 45 and some 357 auto's.
If you can't stop somebody with a 40 or a 45 you got a problem.
