Yeah it was fun to get back out on the road wasn't it? the bike ran well. Now all we need to do is get it into Derek and get those small bugs out so it runs even better. Just to tell you, there was some hesitating going on in the acceleration, not sure it was due to the colder air or dirty carbs, but it was noticeable.

Colder air, because that is the way it started to get when the weather got colder. It was still all good, had fun in the muddy alley that's for sure.

Also got out today and tested out the handling on the lowered supsenion. Like ridin a new bike - course when I was showed the old swing arm bearings I had a clue that all was not well before the upgrade. Good reason to have the SM guide ya I guess. Won't be skipping the next maint. check that's fer sure.

You're right Blue Pearl-- cold air has more oxygen content, and your motor does run better. But....love in the mud??

Ya know, those old cars had such big back seats, you didn't need a room. I had an old '63 Mercury land yaught that would sit 5 across the back seat. Best $150 I ever spent.

Had a 54 Buick and the a 59 Impala conv. Both had big back seats and never did see a movie at the Drive In theater but in the fall and winter those windows sure did fog up. :D. Never had to lay in a mud puddle though, what's with the younger kids anyway.

Never a bore.... I love seeing rods and muscle cars, but I can't afford one so post those pics.

I remember seeing Mary K#$% all muddy from playing powder puff football in high school. The boys were speachless for the first time in their lives.

Went for a long ride today. No rain in the morning and light sprinkles on the way back. All in all, still felt good to be on a bike again.
