Can anyone recommend a kit for a CV carb installed on a shovelhead?
I have what I believe is a sporster carb (stock), and the idle is erratic, and midrange seems alittle off. What kit should I go with?

Can you tell me more about the sportster carb you have? There was a Sportster version of the CV made in 1988 that did not have an accelerator pump, which is known for being difficult to tune. If you are using the carb on a 1340 Shovel then I would use one of the CVP Tuners Kits designed for the same engine size (EVO 1340), or use the 1200 Sportster kit if your engine is in the 1200cc range.

Thanks for the replies. The carb does have an accelerator pump. I have a 1200 shovel, so I will go for the 1200 sporster kit. I hope it cures the erratic idle.

When installing the kit be sure to take the time and inspect the manifold for any possible intake leaks around the head flanges.
