    What I've done over the years is to make sure I get email address's from people I have met, get along with and would like to stay in touch with.

    Can't say there have been many forum posters that turned into any degree of true friendship. Cyber acquaintences lack much and leave a lot to be desired. Just don't see cyber based acquaintences getting many miles as friendships based on actually one on one road and bar time like in the old day.

    Friends may be a strong word but I enjoy engaging motorcycle related conversation more so then spending time with Jehova Witness's at my door stoop.:roflmao:

    Well, I've made several friends through this forum. Meant up with several and rode with several. Would not be afraid to take a long trip with them and have done so with some. Have remained friends with many over the years and meant up with one again at Street Vibrations, I'd call Kev a good friend and have meant up with him over the years, no he is not on here any longer but the friendship lasts. Same with Sleepy and a few others here. Meant HarleyR once last year and bet we could ride across the country together. Same with that New Yorker with that accent :D

    I've made some friends here on this BB. Originally we met om Motorcycle Onlines bike comparo. Royal Star vs Road King back in 96/97 CD[computer Dave ran an internet bikes parts shop Direct Parts back then and started this BB so we wouldn't get in trouble with M O. Some have drifted away over the years but some of us like Flht keep in touch...got some great rides in over the years. I am far enough away from Cardboard to stay out of trouble though.

    Sleepy we got to get together with Kev in Reno next year for a reunion. Kev and I were talking that we need to get you down to Reno with us. Got some good riding around there and the ride to there is fantastic.
