This women I know through another friend, her bike overheated and was leaking coolant. She shut the bike off to let it cool and a momma bear and her cubs smelled the antifreeze and came out of the woods to investigate. Then the bear smelled her two sandwiches in her bag and the bear started to climb up the back. Her husband then yelled at her as she sat there to start the motor and get the H-out of there.

A neighborhood dog got killed that way licking up some spilled antifreeze. Horrible way for an animal to die.

Two Harley mechanics at a dealership said Don't buy them.

And instead of a oil cooler you have a water pump and a pair or radiators in the hard lowers.
The bike is set at the leanest it can be for the EPA standards.
Looked at them a year ago. And i've made it since the 60's without water cooled.
Why start with a water cooled motorcycle now.
If I had of wanted water cooled I could of bought a BMW or a Honda Goldwing.

You should have bought either one then you wouldn't have to spend all the money on building the motor.

You would have to buy a 40,000 harley to run with to the 107 motor I have.
Even then you wouldn't have the same power.

It was my choice to build a better motor.
    Glad I did.

I didn't buy it to keep up with you. I bought it because I wanted it.

Can't take it with you. You want a new bike, buy one. You wanna build a motor instead? Build it. As long as the bills are getting paid, ride with what you need to put a smile on your face.
