Angle and height has everything to do with protection, buffeting or not of your helmet, and up drafts under the shield. Trial and error are the only way for you to determine what's best for your size and distance between shield and you.

The "experts"say the shield should be mounted so as to the top edge is even with your lip or nose. Thats how my Long Ride Shield is adjusted. Many people like to mount them higher so as they actually look through the shield as oppossed to look above it. I preffer the later.JMO

windshields are great, cigars last longer...

Doug at Windvest is a good guy, owner, met him at Bikeweek, 5 of the guys I ride with bought his bagger shields they work.
I don't think he has a lexan replacement for heritage

the replacement lexan From Klockwerks is pretty good and you use your hardware it
has the recurve to move the air around you less buffeting

call california phil for prices on klockwerks

about how tough it was when they were kids,
walking to school uphill bothways in da snow with
no shoes and just a grape for lunch....

Nope, it takes 10 years 2 weeks and 3 days to be an expert, unless, well won't even go there...
and I never drink coffee or anything similar to it....
windshields are easy to make if you have the hardware.
