Robber shot and killed trying to rob pharmacy in Pinch WV

This is the real video from the store.

Watch how quickly it happens, and why if you carry, you best
have one in the chamber, no time to load up.

I love how he made sure and put a third slug in the guys back! F n ay but I also think it makes a good case for the need of a 45 to knock the a hole down immediately.

It just takes a well placed shot but in a excited moment a shotgun would work even better.

Yeah but the shop owner wouldn't have gotten the drop on the a-hole. If you watch closely the shop owner pulled from his pocket behind the counter lady.. That's how he surprised the a-hole.

Ya know when I bought my Kimber last week .
Their was a manager that was a Marine that had been wounded in Iraq.
He had a pistol on him. Asked if his Glock was loaded with one in the chamber.
He said No. Showed me how he drew and chambered his weapon.
    Said I carry israeli style.
You carry how you train. And I've always trained this way.
Its 1/2 second slower than carrying one in the chamber. But with a Glock its much safer .
If 1/2 of a second is gonna make the difference you better not draw your weapon.
But go into a defensive mode with your body and hands. And take cover.

Looked at him and said I carry the same way.

This business of cycling the slide while drawing is well and good if you have the luxury of having both hands free when you need to draw.

There is a good chance your off hand will be busy fending off the bad guy, moving a loved one out of the line of fire, or even injured and immobile.

    And then, you're hosed.

Took 2 yrs of Full Contact Karate when I was 22 yrs old.

When I was 49 to 54& had the business.
I took 5 yrs of Aikido.

Know I haven't practised it in a while. And I'm Old.
But I will take the chance. And I think I know how to drop things that might be in my hands, and use other things to fight with. And how to move out of the way.

I'm not allowd to carry open like a police officer is. So I have to train the way I feel comfortable with.
Carrying concealed takes longer than carrying open.
Have shot 4 times since last tuesday training.

need to take the Ol and let her shoot her Beras Thunder some more too.

But it keeps wanting to RAIN, And RAIN and stay cold.
I shoot outside up the street.

The main thing, is I train, and my weapon is on me. Is yours.
