I have a 95 sportster and 4 years ago I was going through a devorce, too cold to ride and nothing else to do so I desided to make some changes to it. I bought some cheep stuff off Ebay. Post 1999 softail front & rear fenders, gas tank, oil tank, rear swing arm, wide front end. Choped off the rear of the frame made it wider & faved side plates to mount the swing arm. Now I have a 2006 Electra Glide, 2009 Road King, a new girl frend who has a honda & a scooter. Amazing what you can afford when you get rid of a worthless wife & her blood sucking kids. Garage is full need to sell sportster but at the end of this summer it started making a pinging noise & low compression pulled heads to look for carbon build up nothing bike has a lot of miles on it. Came across a total loss 2003 softail classic real cheep with low miles bought it with the intent of putting the motor & transmisson on the sportster put then got to thinking maybe take the tin of the sportster and but on the 03 softail but it will have a rebuilt title or buy a aftermarket frame and put every thing on it but here in Texas there is a lot of paper work you have to go through to get a custom built title.
So if any one has any comments on witch way I should go on this project to sell it and get the most out of it I sure would appreciate any feed back.
    Thanks
