    thats the only reason Mom kept a wooden spoon in the house for , our back sides but with 6 boys & two younger girls she needed it :eek:

    My mom didn't have any wooden spoons, wished she did. She would go out and cut a limb off the Willow tree, man that thing was like a whip and stung like h#ll to. I got to where I could out run her and hide in the Filbert orchards.
