I want to buy a CV carb equipped with cruise control for my 1990 FLHTCU. Our plan is to use the cruise part and adopt it to a newer CV carb 42 or 44mm. We have not been able to buy what we want and thought we would be able to make this re and re work. Any ideas out there?
    Thanks

the automatic cruise is controlled by a servo under the tank,,,,,any cv carb should work. the newer ones are controlled on the cable by a puter......

My information is that it takes an extra pulley on the other side of the carb where the servo is hooked to. We looked into buying a new one but could not find one with the offside pulley and that is why we are looking to adopt parts from the original equip. I have lost track of the original equip years ago when I put in a 100" merch engine with a 44mm Quicksilver carb that is now about worn out.
