WTB - FLHT Hard bags

    I'm looking for a matching set of hard bags in good shape for my 89'FLHTC. My bike is black with orange pinstripe but the bags to not have to match that. I'm not afraid of repainting them. These have been surprisingly hard to find for a reasonable price. $600 is not a reasonable price to me. :banghead:

    Sorry Chuck, not sure what you're asking here. I need the bags and the lids. In other words the whole kit-and-kabootle. :D

    I have leather bags on it now.

    i have 2 complete bag sets..lids and bottoms..i guess i need to get a pic of a 89 hard bag. they changed shapes and sizes. mine would probably work, but may not match what came on the 89's

    OK here i just called my bro-in-law in ALB NM cause he has a 89 FLhTC with hard bargs & look's like chuck's set will work , Bro in law said his whole top comes off like my old shovel bags did , so chuck if you have thee set you two can work it out :cool:

    i will get complete pics of all the bags....and post them, with the lids. i also have the hinges and stuff for them. they are in primer....

    Hi Chuck, I got to thinking about something with those bags. I'm not sure if they're the right ones after all. My right side bag has an indent in it to go over my side mounted battery box. My batt. is mounted on the side, not under the seat. Sorry to drag you through getting the pics and stuff posted. I'll try to get a pic of the inside of my right bag and the right side of my bike without the bag on it.

    that is what i was thinking in my previous post.....the battery is in the way, but i was not sure. no problem. if the other bag works and all you can find is the one odd bag, let me know. ya know what i have now......
