Let me add a couple of suggestions to this message.

    1. I would search for a new ignition module as opposed to used. A used ignition may have problems (electronics) that cannot be resolved when transacting from another country.

    2. Regarding your request coming from Vietnam, you may find it difficult to find individuals willing to ship to countries in Asia. There are known problems with fraud (not saying you personally) that make doing business there unreliable. I would suggest going through a Harley dealer who is willing to ship overseas. One such dealer I know of here is Laidlaw's Harley Davidson in Baldwin Park California. They are known to do business in many other countries.

You should also browse eBay as an alternate source.

Thank you very much kenfuzed. I really want a new one, but I should try a 2hand one too when having no choice :witsend: i will try Laidlaw's Harley Davidson.
There is no matter of buying/shipping because one of my friends is living in WA. He can buy it first then send it to me. Anyone knows pls give me a link then i can buy it soon. I love his Honey and wish it can cry "potato" before every meal again :gah:

I have tried this: Screamin' Eagle Street Legal Performance Ignition Modules 50-State Legal Harley-Davidson® Parts and Accessories . The ad is still there but they said there is no more real thing.

My friend also sent emails to: Harley Davidson Parts 32850-08 - 32464-95 302 and some others but there no reply yet.

So I am here and need your help.

Dear FLHTbiker, there are not many big expensive bikes or big roads in Viet Nam. If one wants a $10.000 bike, he has to pay at least $20.000 to have it (tax...). However, you can see some bikes:

No roads like that when I was there, you have come a long way I see. Interesting that the communist government allows you to have them. Those 1800 Goldwings like a full size Harley sell new for 20,000 US dollar or more, even here. Plus the the Goldwing seat height is quit tall, hmmm interesting.
Are those pictures around Saigon or Hanoi?

I want to know what is up with all the double horns on the front of the bikes?
A lot of animals in the way or pedestrian, or cars? They all look like beefed up police bike sirens.

Heck there are still parts of WV that don't have roads like that :roflmao:

Good luck on your parts Crazy Master. Have you looked into aftermarket replacements? Don't have any idea how crazy your laws are or if they will allow them or not. Heck some of our crazy states are all up in arms about them. So much for a free country.
