OK, CB took the XDS 45 out and shot 100 rounds through it. What a incredible pistol, man I love it. Both targets were shot at 50 feet. Yes she got a little kick to it but not bad. That fiber optic Red Dot sight on the front is really nice. You gotta get one, you'll love it. Here are the first two targets. By the way I didn't even clean it first as I wanted it dirty to see how it would do, simply beautiful not one problem.

I have one S&W and its the 9mm Shield.

This pistol is not the same as your 3.8 XDM they are much smaller, thinner perfect for a carry.

    Not by much.
The XDm 3.8 compact. 9mm, 40 and 45 are all the same size pistols.
the difference is in the barrel, and weight of the bulllets.
I know the XDs is a little shorter. and a little thinner.
To me, loosing the bullets ain't worth it.
If I stick them under my belt. I don't notice that much difference.
    I forgit its there.
But I will say the XDs is a great pistol if its what you are looking for.
And like you said, it shoots good.
Super glad yer a happy camper.

The 45 is fatter in the handle than the 9mm is, gotta handle bigger bullets. That's what is so nice about the XDS very compact. Easier to conceal.

I've held and felt the pistol. It feels great.
LIsten to me closely. Better yet. Git a pencil and paper Please

For me, I like Bullets. The more I got the better I feel.
I like shooting machine guns. How many bullets does a M-60 have.

I know the XDs is a great pistol dude.
But if I stuck it under my belt or stuck my XDm 3.8 compact and did everything. I would never notise what the difference would be.
Some people probably carry different than me. So it might make a difference to them.
I like the 2 difference size clips too.
