Think when somebody gets in a new Springfield XDS 45 I'm gonna get one.
Got a lot of friends with the XDS and they really like them.
    Great carry weapon.

It was only a voluntary recall.
Know several folks including gun dealers . It's their main carry pistol.
They have fired thousands of rounds with no problems.
Several folks will not send their pistol in cause there is nothing they warn to carry to replace it,
It fits Cary's and shoots good.

Got a buddy down the street with a sig.
    Loaned him my XDm 3.8 compact 9 & 45
He went the next day he came back from the range and bought ah XDM 3.8 compact 9mm.
Put his new sig in the drawer.

    I got a XDM 3.8 compact 9mm, 40, & 45
No way will I trade them for a sig.
Git 2 brothers in laws that has a couple Sigs,
They both carry the XD 40 compact Springfield.

We are wating for a gun range to get some new xds 3.3 compact 45 in.
As fast as they can get them in they are gone in a few hours.
Know FLHT said he had problems with his.
I can't find anybody that has had a problem, or will sell theirs.
    The gun Cary's great,
We're about 60 miles from this range. They got good prices and 6.75 sales tx.

There are way to many people all across the nation having problems with their XDS. Go to the Springfield talk site and start reading, just not me. My XDM is a fine shooting pistol with no problems but the XDS is a pain in the rear. My Shield is far superior to it as it never misses a beat and I know you don't like Smith and Wesson but I don't care I like it. I may as well throw a rock as try to defend myself with that XDS.

    Don't care about other people.
Got a lot of people carrying the weapon everyday & shooting it.
And the gun ranges are saying prople are still shooting them
One dude said he has shot over 5000 rounds threw his weapon .
    He ain't sending it in.
The owner. Of the shooting range said
    It's s voluntary recall.
    And realize this.
Springfield is resleasing NEW XDS 3.8 compacts that are after the recall.
It's just super hard to find somebody they has one.

First off its not a 3.8 compact its a 3.3 and you better hold on tight, they do kick. Let the wife shoot it first. :D

Here is what I bought to replace the XDS.45 and it is far superior.
Ultra compact 1911 45. About the same size but it works every time with no failure of any kind. Barrel is the same length.

Voluntary means it was done voluntarily by Springfield vs being forced by the Feds

    Notice section 2.

    What should you do?
STOP USING YOUR 3.3 XD-S™ 9mm or .45ACP PISTOL AND CAREFULLY UNLOAD IT!

Then return it to Springfield before you accidentally shoot someone. Or yourself.

Pistol.jpg My buddy just bought a xds.45. Seriel# is past the affected ones. Me, I love my little Sig P350SC in .45. Recoil is no issue at all. Love shooting it with 185 gr. loads.

    Bunch of Sig lovers.

I personally am not a Sig fan, nor a 1911 style fan.
Don't like decockers, or external hammers. I want to pull & shoot
I like a combat style pistol like xds & glock.

That's exactly why I bought the Sig P350SC. Dbl action only. Pull and scweez,no safety, double strike capabillity. Simple design little if anything to fail.

On my sig, there is NO safety as it's dbl action only. Shoots like a wheel gun.
