Thinking about a 6 speed for my 2000 road king for longer trips. See Baker ,Ultima and Revtech. Is the Baker stuff that much better, would rather have my good working 5 speed than a poorly working/ shiftless (lol) 6 speed. Is 2.94 low gear stock? Not looking for the 3.24 as I ride 1 up most of the time.

I think we are past due for a forum for metric bikes so we can hopefully open up Bike Talk to more metric riders thus making them feel more welcome.

Theres an article in the news today about a brazilian scietist who theorizes that saliva from blood sucking ticks could help combat cancer. As I read this a thought came over as to how that would work. I figured they would just put people people who smoke to collect the tick saliva ergo they'll be to busy to smoke and won't get cancer. Thereby combating cancer.
Tick saliva can there really be such I thing..WTF.

Kind of interesting that some here have been talking lately about what brought them here or why they like bike/motorcycle forums. I then happened to notice tonight that our forum had hit 19,000 discussion threads! So it made sense that I should post number 20,000.
Happy 20,000 Bike Talk crew!
We have probably had far more but this doesn't count all the deleted or merged discussions. Anyway, probably trivial but found it interesting that this forum continues to hang in there and glad people are still getting something out of it after all these years.
