I think I already know the answer, but here goes anyway...
Does my friend that works with me, who just bought the 07 RK classic need to have his EFI tweaked since he also ordered SE pipes for it?
I told him to ask the service guys where he bought it. I also told him I thought he'd need something like a PC III to make things right for the engine. I still deal with CV's and the like, so I'm not very well versed in the EFI world.
Any tips appreciated...

I thought that maybe its time for something new. Just simply the best ride you have owned and why.
For me after getting off of my 05 Heritage Springer Classic today I gotta say that I just love that bike. The bike is no canyon carver but then that's not what I'm after. It looks great, handles well feels good, sounds good. Gets 50 MPG even over 3000 RPMs. Its just a pleasure to ride.
I've never really felt that way about any other bike and when they first came out with them I knew I wanted one. No regrets, the bike is a great ride.

I installed a PCIII USB this weekend and a Ness big sucker. I think the PC III USB is really cool. When I hook it up to my Laptop You can watch the RPM, fuel and throttle position in real time. Anyway, the PCIII has a stock map (i hear the fuel is richer with only the stock map). I clearly notice a big change in power from the old setup, but mostly above 3000rpm. It sounds great when the throttle is opened up inspite of the crappy stock pipes.
I took a 50 mile rt ride up 78 from escondido to Ramona then back on 67 (near San Diego, CA) There was a good elevation change and lots of breaking and excellerating. I checked my plugs after the trip and they looked great. It seems I'm burning alot of fuel, but I guess that's me pushing the engine to see what it can do with half a...

Hello all! I am new to the site hope and to find some help. Has anyone heard of excessive oil use in 05's???? (1.5 qts in 1000mi) My front plug is in BAD shape! (black with deposits) I took it to 1 dealer that told me I needed valve seals. Even showed me the service bullitin on the problem, said they would fix under warranty. (bike has 5400mi) Insted I opted to take it too my selling dealer 55mi away to have them do it along with my 5000mi service. Told them of the problem and they acted as if I was insane! Bike sat at dealler for 4 days. I called to see if was finished and they had not even looked at it. They said they were waiting for auth. from factory. I called factory and they said dealer never called about my bike. Factory called dealer and proceeded to tell them too wire tie my oil...

I'm trying to do an oil change on a 2006 street Bob, I must not have the correct tool, but I can't seem to get the plug out. It's an allen head, but the frame is in the way of the plug; only 1/2-3/4 clearance so I can't put the allen wrench in there. I can't apply enough tq on ball driver. It looks like I need a super short allen wrench. Any one have this experience?
