Hello All,
I just purchased an 06' Heritage Standard (ESPFI). It came with a shield and saddle bags.
I am wanting to change the exhaust (I don't want it loud, just look nicer and have a deeper sound) and am new at this sort of thing. Just don't know what are the requirements for this procedure. I've been checking out the web and still confused as to what pipes will fit or not and will I need a Power Commander to tune the (ESPFI) after installing the new pipes?
Or just let the HD service guys do it?
Help!

ready to do get some more performance out of the ride
but dont want to delete the warranty.
what can be done to a cv fxdwg
like hypercharger wide tire kits
exhaust seat and the likes
what about the engine chip
can it be readily changed to a higher rpm redline without harming the engine?
frankly i dont really want it cracked open and start enlarging the displacement yet aNYWAY,maybe when it is due for rering the internals will go hotter.
these are full rollers right?
do they have locks on the rockers or are they simply rollers also
havent found alot on the engines yet any factory service manuals out of the 05 fxdwg yet
i just love this rookie stuff, and done ran hell track at 16 also, blew up a few crotch rockets, got tired of old harleys, and got a new one.
looks promisings huh,...

Hey, does anyone know if you buy a ceramic coated exhaust, do you still need heat sheilds or heat tape?

i want CD's JOb.........to get paid to play..........i wished i was that smart.....NEVER........but on the other hand it is cool to be able to hang out with people who are..........am i not so sure i could handle CD's hours..........for all that fun....the hours must be long............i admire the knowledge that he has.........what more impressive......is he shares that knowledge............but every time i see the word gonga......i get a flash back to the 70's...........man were those the day's...........and gonga was the sign of the times............so when i see that word........that must be one sweet deal..................CD keep up the great work!!!!!!!
and thanks so much for keeping it simple..........and taking time to explain......you will never know just what that...

I have a 2001 Electra Glide Classic and want to install an oil cooler. I see that "Seahag" used his crash bar for an oil cooler... Will this process compromise my oil pressure? Should I use a thermostat or a manual valve to route the oil?
Any help is appreciated....
Thanks,
Bob
