I joined this talk site a short time ago to learn more about my Harley. The multiple number of members that have had input on my questions have not only helped me learn more, but have also left me feeling more at ease about being able to take care of my baby.
A big Thank You! to all.
Also, Today i made my first purchase from Direct Parts,Inc
The experence couldn't have been better.
I talked with a tech about my items as well as the person that took my order and both where simply Great people. Both took a genuine interest in making me feel like i was an important customer.
Thank You! to the people that work at Direct Parts Inc.

I am considering buying a set of Buckhorn handle bars for my Sportster. What I would like to know, do they extend back towards the seat more than the stock bars so the rider doesn't have "reach" somewhat forward? Or do they cause other issues? Harley has a kit with the handlebars, brake line and throttle cable.

I have a 04 sportster 1200 custom. I've been looking at lowering kits. Has anyone lower the front and back of the 1200? What does it look like when lowered on the front at the forks?
