okay ..chrome don't get ya home but I went out and bought the "NEW" banjo chrome cover for the cable going into the tranny on my 02 wide glide. Figured... "hey that does cover up the ol' metal a bit and does'nt look half bad"...okay it goes on with the tiny allen keys...two...none of which you can get to much at all...one is dead in line with a bolt protruding from the engine block and had me bewildered as to why on earth did they do that!??!
. Wow what engineering....I am sure with a bit of this and a bit of that or just stick it on with epoxy it might go on okay....just for once can't something come "BRO" or at least with the same length bolts(another story)... I have the worse luck with that stuff. Anyone put this piece on ...I only messed with it honestly for about three minutes...

Can anybody offer advice on how to connect a standard set of ear buds to a 2004 HD Ultra headset jack? I want to have a headset that I can use with a half helmet, and earbuds seem to be the only way to pull that off. However, the plug in on top of the fuel tank takes a specialized plug found only on the end of a Harley headset. And a HD headset only works with a full or 3/4 helmet. I don't care about the CB. Is there an adapter anybody is aware of?

I am having a problem with the left turn signal on my XL1200. When the engine is not running the turn signal seems to work fine. When the engine is running and I push the turn signal button both the front & rear turn signal light up but they don't flash. I suspected it was a loose ground somewhere but have not been able to locate it. I suspect the problem is with the front turn signal and possibly in the connector shown in the wiring diagram.
I have two questions -
1) Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, what was the remedy?
2) In the wiring diagram a connector is shown for the front turn signal, does anywhere where this connector is located on the bike?
Thanks,
Prospinner
