Want to install progressive 412 shocks that are 2" longer than stock. Anybody know if this is possilble Have the bike on a bike jack with one shock off. This is on a 883c 2004 Sportster.

I need some help. I have a solid chrome RevTech wheel on my 2000 Heritage. A couple of weeks ago I started hearing this popping noise. I took my bike to my mechanic who put the wheel on about two years ago. He put a stethoscope on the axle and we both thought it was the wheel bearing. He replaced the bearing and the noise is still there. He took the wheel apart to inspect it. No problems visible. He put my stock wheel back on / no noise. He put the RevTech back on and the noise is still there.

Does anyone have any ideas why I am getting this noise?

Anything I may Not be considering when looking at one of these bikes. The shop has some they big bore and trick out some. 22k Others just have the lights and stickers stripped off for about 15k. I know they have a "runflat" rear tire. Gear ratio any different than a stock bike? Any other issues with them.

Does anyone have any experience or info on extended F.C.
I am looking at Arlen Ness 3" extended forward controls. (part# 071-610) ;simple plates or Kuryakyn forward controls. I like Arlen Ness price and simply application but also like Kuryakyn(#9060) Chrome but not the price.
Any suggestions! (NOTE: I have a HD bullet spoiler:#53703 will the Extended.F.C. interfere with the spoiler?) Thanks for any advice or info!
