Here soon shortly riding season is over. Period. After the next 2-4 weeks there will be below freezing temps, snow, ice for the next 5+ months. Absolutely nothing redeeming about any of that.
I did push it once till the end of November a couple years ago. Full face helmet, winter gautlet gloves, tourmaster cold weather jacket and over pants. Snug as a bug in a rug. It was about 24-25 degrees that last nite. When I went into work that afternoon for 4pm it was a smoldering 43-45 degrees out. When I headed home at midnite it was 24-25 degrees. No worries, or so I thought. I headed down the road not feeling the cold but my bike seemed to be handling oddly. I stopped in the parking lot and shuffled my feet on the road surface...black ice like a MF'er. Whoa what to do what to do. I forged on...

Think when somebody gets in a new Springfield XDS 45 I'm gonna get one.
Got a lot of friends with the XDS and they really like them.
Great carry weapon.

hello there! my wife has a 2006 883 low with just under 4000 miles! I have installed a 48 slow jet and I think 175 main jet turned mixture out 2 turns from bottom. when I 1st start her and hit the gas it farts! I noticed the engine side of slide is well scarred from all the farting! lol I am planning on putting a better breather and cycle shack slip ons on her and see what she will do. is it I am just not giving her a few minutes to warm up? I live just south of Memphis,tn so we can just about ride all year if no ice! rain doesn't bother me! any help be great! thanks
