Ok found this on another board and I'm in the process of doing it myself, on the 09 RG which comes with a factory security system.

Now you could go to a dealer and pay $89 for the HD Siren that bolts right to the bike and clips in using the factory harness, or, you can go to Radio Shack and buy a 102db siren for $6 and a 9 pin connector for $2, clip the pins on the siren wires (all two of them) and connect it to the same HD harness and have a waterproof loud siren for under $10, seems like an easy decision to me..

    $90 or $10
    $90 or $10

Or you could just get a dinette set

So here's how you do it..

Go to Radio shack and get one of each:

    273-079 102 DB Piezo Siren

276-1427 9 pin Male Crimp Connector (for the pins that come with it)

Pull the siren connector out of the HD receiver, it's not connected to anything its
just secured in this molded area on 08 and up, it's hidden behind the ECM on 07 FL's and behind the splash guard on softails, really all you need to know is "where is the connector for the HD Siren that you can pay $89 to the dealer" located

Pull the siren connector out of the HD receiver, it's not connected to anything its
just secured in this molded area.

Then attach pins to the ends of the wires on the siren, they are
crimp on, and a set of needle nose should do it, you could solder the
tip of the wire into the connector.

The pins go into the connector as follows

Red wire from siren goes to Brown wire from plug.
Black wire from siren goes to Green wire from plug.

Drill a hole in the plastic retaining area if you are going to use it to
hold the connector, you cannot push it back in with the wire and pins
in the connector, otherwise you could heat shrink the wires and electrical tape
the ends and zip tie the connector to the side of the fuse wall.

Mount the siren using double sided tape or heavy duty velcro
and support with Zip Tie if you wish.

Insert connector to housing and silly cone
This guy used blue, I'll use black...

There you have it an under $10 HD mod...
