2500 miles one way with toll roads.

Hate to tell you this. But I can dive 12 hours and still be in Texas.

    It ain't gonna happen.
Would bet a lot of money Chucktx would never ride that far either.

Then to turn around and come back.

When I got on a map program it said there would be some toll roads.

    Don't make no difference.
We are too old and that is too far for fun for Chucktx and me.
We wouldn't be happy campers by the time we got there.

We ride when and where we want to ride.
Not out to try to outdo anybody.
    We ride our rides .
And that far is not in our schedules.

I got a lab that would be on his own.
Nobody to take care of him.

MY WIFE would hurt me if I let anything happen to him.
She works 85 miles away in Houston.
She can't work and take care of a 100 lb dog.

We got Texas T-Bone steaks here we can eat.
And seafood from the gulf coast.
And plenty of Tex-Mex food and real mexican food.
If I went anywhere. I would want to go back to Tuscon and eat a Sonora Dog and go back to San Diego and eat Pizza at the Italian resturant my SIL took us too.

Thank You for the invite Oh !

Well that's to bad your so old. Heck, OLBill is 75 and he still rides long distances. Matter of fact I'm leading a ride down into Calif this coming August then over to to Klamath Falls. Ride will be around 4 days long and he's going plus another 75 year ol boy on his RoadKing is coming along. Hey dude you and I and Maddog are the same age. You must be getting to be a wuss. Need to get out of the rocking chair and get on the bike more often and put some hard miles on the road. :D
Two years ago ol Maddog myself and a friend from AZ did 8800 miles on one ride. Can't let the grass grow up between your toes, dude. :)

    Good for you.

Rode a little over 500 miles in May n a day.
Rode a few hunderd miles while I was near the Missouri border.

I don't want to ride as far as you do anymore.
Having problems with my back and legs hurting a lot more.
And my arms has been giving me problems for about a year from the satins I take
I may ride 250 miles n a day now. Sometimes farther. sometimes less.

You got to realize, I'm close to the border of Louisiana.

And all our body chemistries are different.

Email Chucktx and ask him to come. If he will ride I will ride with him.
But It ain't gonna happen in no 3 days. That would be over 800 miles a day dude.

Then when I get there you are gonna want to take us out riding to show us the place.
All I'd need is some groceries. Some crown and Pepsi and a bed to lay on.

    Here is my compensator sprocket.
Correct me if'n I'm wrong, but this looks just like a Screaming Eagle Compansator.

My Barnett Scorpion Clutch came in today.

It has 3 sets of springs.
    1. 40 lb springs ea holds 240 lbs
    2. 58lb springs ea holds 348 lbs
    3. 82 lb springs each holds 492 lbs.

We started with the 49 lb springs
I took the bike out and was running it solo.
When I was in 6th gear and twisted the throttle the clutch's broke loose.
Came home and put the 58 lb springs.
Took it back out and didn't break loose when I was in 6th gear.
Now I got to test it with the OL on the back..

You can also see the Hayden M-6 primary tensioner.

Looks nice and clean in there . . . was considering the Barnett Scorpion clutch at one time, but went with regular Barnett discs and spacers. They work good for my application.

How do you find the lever pull with all 6- 58lb springs CB?? On my Evo I went with 3 of the light springs and 3 medium springs...With all light springs mine wouldn't hold either...Worked well when I put 3 medium springs in and lever pull was good,I found the pull was a little stiff with all medium springs in...

    Very easy...
I may have to go with 3 of the 6 to be 82 lbs when I stick the OL on.
Bike pulls hard in the upper gears.
