Hayden said to run the M6 till it wears the chain into the shoe.
The extra wear will give it more room for slack in the chain.
Only thing is it put so much pressure on the chain that it burn't my compensator sprocket up.
He was also stating that he had them with good success on bikes everywhere .
Told him a lot of people put them on and with the chain so tight got scared and took the off.
And one of his dealers that sold it to me. Said don't put it in unless you can get 3/8" on the measurement.

Getting him to get a bike just like mine and put the tensioner in it and see if he can get the chain to move with the M6 in it.
    I couldn't.

He said HD has like 6 different part numbers for the auto adjusting tensioners.
Then he should have different shoes for each of them.

I already had problems with it and would not put it back in.

Too much pressure not he Output shafts.

He was trying to say HD has like 6 different part numbers for their bikes auto tensioners. And was Bla Bla Bla and I said to settle this.
Since you are in California and I'm inn Texas
To go and get a 2011 Ultra Limited and put the M6 BT07 in the bike and see if if don't take all the slack out of the primary chain just like it did on mine.
He said give him time to do it and he would get back with me.
    I don't care. I ain't putting it back in.
Like I said , Asked Tech support with Fuelmoto if they ever tried them.

    They said , no.

I would imagine that HD's move to the adjustable tensioner
has killed off a lot of his business, there were a couple of companies
doing this in the 90's and early 00's before the HD auto tensioner
    came with the bike....

SO he's limited to selling to older bike crowd... or fixing a problem
    that doesn't really exist...

As long as the output bearing on my bike are O.K.
    I don't care if I have a paper weight.
    Won't be the 1st time i've bought something I didn't like.
That is the least of my worries.

I have a Hayden M6 BT07 new in the box that I've never gotten around to installing on my 08. After switching the primary fluid to ATF my neutral and shifts improved so it wasn't a priority to install it.

Glad you caught this before the damage became any worse.

Glad to hear your back on the road CB and I agree with Ken, glad you caught it before your whole engine went south.
As for the weather we are supposed to get a bit of snow next week just when I need to be on the bike with the HOG chapter Road Captain team.

I hope everybody will be up and riding again soon. This is the worst weather (for N.C.) that I have seen and in many other parts of the country as well. Can hardly wait so I can test ride all the new stuff I did to the bike.

I hear ya. By Sunday it's gonna be in the mid 60s here. Probably all the snow will be melted by then, but still can't ride yet - grrr.
