Kit came in around noon today.

Got the gas tank off, hard lowers. exhaust and pulled the rocker covers and rocker arms.
    Pushrods and tubes.
Pulled the lifters, cam cover and all and got the Woods 555 cams in and the Zippers Dual Chain tensioners and got the cam chest back on.

Gonna pull the bottom rocker arm plates. and heads and check the deck heigtht. tomorrow.

    Then if everything is good.
I will pull the jugs and pistons and put the new forged pistons and put the new bored jugs on and check the deck height and pray everything is O.K.

If Harley had of made base plate gaskets instead of a oring on the bottom end. You could use different base plate gaskets on the jugs and make the difference on the deck height for the piston.
Instead of having to have the jugs milled for proper height.

Got to find a tool to remove the Auto magic Compression releases out of my old heads and put them into the new heads before I can go any farther.

Got my Bike lift and my bike down the street at my Buddy Zans garage.
He has some heaters. Its cold and wet outside.
He has a lot more tools than me.
And about 5 digital torque wrenchs.
And it helps to have to people to help when you use a ring compressor and put jugs on and all.

Was 36 this morning but sunny and dry. Myself, Maddog, Olbill and another old guy all went for a long ride out through the country. Warmed up to 50 by 3 PM. I'd rather be riding than working on the bike any day. But glad your having fun.

It took Tattoo & me both to put new rings in my old cylinders after honing. Man, those are close tolerances for the cylinder deck height. Your bike is gonna fly now.

Getting my brain off the current crisis; here in DC the temp was 17 this morn and going up to 35 today. At home on Long Island it's another 5 to 10 degrees colder. Very unusual low temps for this time of year. If it doesn't improve I may have to winterized the scooter. That's something I've only done once in my riding life.

Soon as the sun comes out the temps skyrocket up. Was a great ride yesterday. With those close tolerances on the build your gonna have to keep an electric blanket on it just so you can start it on a cool morning.

Close tolerances means better squish. Cooler running temps. Better burn.
And won't need a electric blanket.
    Got electronic compression releases.
And I can go in the TM and add more fuel at the cranking position.
And i've emailed Jamie for a dynoed map for the TM.

So that means you don't have to stay home and drink coffee and punish your bike but rather you can ride your bike when the temps get below 60. :)

Got the exhaust headers, mufflers and crossover pipe back on.

Got the TB and right hand side floor board back on.

Got the 02 sensors back in.

Got a map from Fuelmoto for the TM.

Will be 2 more days before I get the ACR tool in so I can finish the heads.
    And get the Pushrods in.
