This reminds me of an incident that took place about 30 yrs ago at my last job. We were having our union meeting and the topic of drug testing on the job came up. One of our members addressed the regional rep and said " You are aware that it`s a proven medical fact that THC will stay in your system for up to 30 days." Our regional rep said " That would only prove that you are smoking pot, which is (at the time) illegal. And if you`re breaking the law, I will NOT be backing you up." Times have sure changed, haven`t they?

It just so happens I spent 34 months in Germany courtesy of Uncle Sam. Have you ever seen what the German people do on their lunch breaks? I have. I will only say that alcohol & drug use on the job is not unique to American workers.

But there is no reason that we have to be like that.

There is NO European country that I would want the USA to be like.

In many ways, our politicians are using European countries as models for how to do things over here. They keep it up and we will be going down like Greece and the Netherlands.
