It's only $399 which is a fraction of a new full hard tail frame and the best thing is you get to keep your numbers matching frame and title...

I was looking into doing a hardtail conversion on mine, still will eventually, but the one that I was looking at was 1200 from a place called Twisted Chopper

Yep, looked at those too and narrowed it down to 2 choices. HIH and these guys: |||:::::LED SLED CUSTOMS 2010:::::|||

I wouldda been happy with either one but went with HIH cuz in addition to the frame they send a jig to help line it all up...

The place that you got the hardtail kit from, did they offer a drop seat version?

Last night I got the process going on what it is going to cost me on building my man cave next year. Once I have the man cave up, then I have the room to tear my Sportster apart and start its conversion.

Like I said, looks GREAT so far.. Keep the Pictures coming..:D

I finally got around to fabbing up some parts. I bent a couple of pieces of 1/4 steel bar stock to fit the contour of the seat tube so I can mount the oil tank. Still workin on the fender mounts & battery box and will post up pics ASAP on those too.
