If you are riding a bagger going from a 96 to a 103 won't be that much of an increase. when you start pushing 1,000 lbs down the road 7 more ci just isn't going to make it that much more.

I can upgrade my 96 to a 103 with cams for a whole lot less than buying a new one.

Sure if you have more horses you use them...sometimes. I usually cruise about 75 and that's where I stay. But being able to twist it on at 75 and get the heck out of the way is comforting.

    Yep...............

And if you ever feel the Pull of the Power of the motor you don't want to go back to less power to something that strains.

I test rode a SE 110 Roadking at Sturgis one year. My only comment when I came back was... Man I gotta have one of these.
When I got back on my 96 it felt underpowered.

I would like to have one of those 110" too but I know that I would get myself into trouble with that. With my car that I started building, I just could not leave the engine alone. More power. I really do think though that ona bike with that much power, it would be insane.

You can buy one in the crate for about 6500.00 from HD but you have to change yer throttle body and injectors out.
Got a friend that did one.
And for about that kind of money we got a Harley dealer that will build you a 113cu motor.
