Get the trike then. I think I'm going to have to seriously consider one myself. PGR friend got one last year and says he now wishes he'd got one sooner. I just hate the idea of giving up two wheels for three. But if the new Tri Glides have the independent suspension as rumored, why not.

Charlie called me a "kid" if that be the case he's a big kid. He's no where near trike fodder yet.

No offence but when it's over, it's OVER, for me anyway. Ridin' a 3wheeler, just not for me. Had many good years, miles, stories. Can't complain, grateful. JMO

Well it's still an HK unit from what I understand, and they did upgrade all the faring mounting
    brackets and such...

I'm on HK number 3, I'd say if you buy a 2014 get the extended warranty

I guess a fella is going to have to ride one to see what all the fuss is about. I see where the Street Glide Special and the Indian Chieftan are the same price. I've ridden the Indian, pretty impressive, maybe a little much " engine feel" in the floorboards but an easy bike to ride. Al I know is that my 2012 Limited felt heavy and slow compared to it.

A lot of cool stuff but the things I don't like is; the tour pack design looks ugly, there is too much stuff for the synced brakes and that water cooling ?!? Just waaaaay too much stuff going on. They loose the simplicity of riding.

Did you see page 146 in the tech forum (link)? Check out the trike on the bike stand. It crushed it lmao .

Hey Tom, when the forum was upgraded a couple weeks ago a few things were reset. I'm still in the process of doing clean up.

Yeah, that's a good idea if it's just to compensate for a physical limitation. I worry about the senses and reflexes slowing down. We all know that's gonna happen. I hope to realize it before the big one.

LInked brakes have been around a long time on bmw, gold wings and other bikes and
    work really well.,

You can still get one without the water cooled heads and radiators.
