Club President wife just got a 2014 candy red street glide. I haven't seen it in person yet maybe this weekend. Photos look good. I'm not sure about the vent in the batwing yet. It fought if takes away from classic look.

No need for an oil cooler with the water cooled heads...

You can't honestly think that the heads stay that cool do you????? I am reading over on HTT that the head temp only drops 20*. You drop more heat with an oil cooler.

point is that you've dropped the temps so it shouldn't be an issue.

I doubt oil coolers drop much more than 20, oil is a great lube
but not a great heat conductor...

+1 I had a Hayden thermostatically controlled oil cooled on my very worked 1100 Suzuki that pulled 158mph rountinely in 1981. The oil cooler never got oil flowing through it. Then the bike got full dressed with Vetter Windjammer and bags and trunk AND Velorex Sidecar. That oil cooler never had to turn on. Just saying.

I heard that Harley copied what BMW did on their bike and it works. German engineering gotta be better right, right :p

And expensive to repair when something breaks. I'll take good old American engineering anyday - and the older, the better LOL.

I am not going to be a hater, it should work just fine. How often does something go wrong with the radiator on your car.
