If they would have used a decent hose clamp they wouldn't have a problem.

I been all over the 2014 Ultra, non water but air cooled to include a couple test rides. The bike pulls and rides strong. Even though the windshield is shorter its now in the sight line for me and would have to be lowered. Little concerned about the new infotainment center. It appears really nice and high tech but for me would take awhile to get use to. To add CB and GPS costs an arm and a leg. I believe right now you would have to buy the new radio at 1700$ then add the $300 CB and the $4-500 GPS on top of the 1700$ radio. The speakers seem louder and clearer for sure. The hand controls are totally all different then what Ultra riders have come to be use to over the years. The cruise is on the left side instead of right. And the prompts for the various functions are as well different. The salesperson didn't even know how to use it, that says alot, I mean if its over whelming for the sales person you'll have your hands full as the purchasing customer figuring it all out.

Right behind the passenger seat all the massive wiring is exposed clearly in about a 2.5-3 inch wide and the width of the seat gap. Not liking that too much.

The tour pac is shaped extremely different. Bigger but not a traditional look about it. If you put windshield bags on you block the new fairing vent. They have a push to open door on the far right of the inside of the fairing and I suppose you could put a phone there?

The 2014 Ultra is all different. Not all bad but not all good.

Like anything it depends on the team at the dealer
and how much you put into learning it, theres a lot of new things
    on the FL series baggers.

You could put your phone in that compartment or a USB based
music player maybe an Iphone adapter would work.

I agree on the radio but I guess it keeps the costs down
on the bike, CB would be nice on an Ultra,

Honestly the Limited is about close to what CVOs are minus
the larger engine and a custom paint it's the way to go.

Dealer here can't keep them on the floor, sold the new CVO Ultra
and it never hit the floor they also sold the new CVO road king
while we were there I think it was on the floor a whole hour..

Just not feeling the water cooled stuff and which is in the Limited. If I could get a non water cooled limited I'd be interested.

You're also a lean and mean riding machine. Should you have had a little excess here or there you'd be feeling the bumps :)

Just get the Ultra version and add the stuff you want. Only the Ultra Limited is water cooled. The Ultra is still air cooled. That's this year. At some point, maybe even next year, all of them will be water cooled.

Thats the problem...there is no cheap way to add CB or GPS. You have to buy the 6.4 radio upgrade which is 17-1800$ then add the 400$ CB and the 5-600$ GPS. There is no way to add CB or GPS on the 2014 Ultra as of yet. That may change in the future.

I rode with my club today. Nice ride another 175 miles this weekend. President showed up with the 2014 Limited in candy red two tone and his wife got a matching 2014 street glide . The opinions on the fairing scoop are all positive. They say open it creates a larger dead air space around rider and passenger.

Does not matter if it is a bike, boat, car, or airplane, stay away until a few make it out the door and off the floor. Let the guys who need to be impressing the neighbors find out where the wiring harness rubs and what fluids will leak. Smart shoppers buy 9-12 months later. Or more than 5 years later! American, Japanese, German, its all figured out by engineers, smart persons every one, I'm sure, but sometimes common sense seems lacking.

Yes: common sense is uncommon these days. I bet those new Harleys are heavy, too. I couldn't ride a bike that weighs 6 or 7 times more than I do .

You'd be surprised how light the Ultra Limited feels while riding. I couldn't believe how nimble it handled. Took the twisties great ( better than my Fatboy and I'm riding that a few years )

I wonder how they pulled that off . . . But once you load up bags, trunk and passenger that'll change fast.
