I thought it was a good article but not great. The author in my opinion was really vague on its handling in the twisties. He mentioned that he felt that the suspension was rough near 45psi and was better at lower psi but that is it. No real evaluation of the new handle bar layout.

Thanks for posting the link but I think I will rely upon my own test ride to judge. One thing I did like about this article is that it shows some really nice pictures of the fairing. I think I could get used to it. Beautiful Bike!

I heard somewhere it was more than just the new touch screen, there was an issue with the old tooling and waste parts was a real issue. Don't know it to be true, but did hear it somewhere.

Just for one year. Whats bonkers about that? Honda stopped production of goldwings one year recently and while they moved everything back to Japan from Ohio I think it was.

High tech is bonkers in general in my opinion. It's a Brave New World out there and I'm far happier ignoring most of it.

Honda giveth and Honda taketh away. Sounds like more American jobs lost to me.

I sold my 2012 CVO ultra and sold my 2001 Heritage Springer Classic.
I still have my 2003 Heritage Springer Classic and my Triumph Trophy.

The water cooled heads do help keep the heat down. I've rode it in 100 degree heat and like any air cooled motor they do put off some kind of heat but not like before.

I swear the bike handles better than the 12 did, much more nimble. Torque and HP is a bit better to and weight is bit less. All in all its the best Harley touring bike I've ever owned.

I test rode a '13 Ultra Limited and found the handling extremely nimble. I loved it.

Not after the engine went out. They didn't replace it but a mechanic at the dealership rebuilt it. After getting it back went on a ride and lost the oil pressure. No telling if there was any engine damage course they say no. So yea, I did loose confidence in it and then when I saw the 2014 CVO Ultra on the floor it had a magnet on it. Very happy with it and tomorrow I do its first 1000 mile service. Headed out Friday on a four day 3 western state ride.

As much as you ride, a new bike was the ticket. More power and lighter weight? Amazing, since over the years, I thought the touring bikes were getting heavier.
